The following are Emo Gym's Terms of Service for meeting with a trainer (spiritual director, coach, or counselor) for events, group classes, or private sessions.

Confidentiality

Information shared in sessions is confidential and will not be discussed or released to anyone, except in cases where there is sufficient cause to believe that a life is in danger, or when you appear suicidal.

In addition, in an attempt to gain perspectives and ideas as to how best to help you reach your goals, our trainers may meet with other professional service providers regarding supervision for our sessions, but will not identify specific information being disclosed.

We are also required by law to report child abuse, child sexual abuse, elder abuse or intentions to harm self or others. If you have any questions or reservations about the policy in regard to confidentiality, then the policy should be discussed before meeting.

Guidelines

1. It is understood that the participating in these classes or private sessions pertains to and concerns the emotional, spiritual, or practical life of the client/participant. Our services do not directly concern itself with psychological counseling, psychotherapy, or medical practice of any kind—except in the case when a trainer has accreditation in psychological or medical fields, such as a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.

2. Each session or class will last for a mutually agreed upon length of time and at a mutually agreed upon time and date.

3. 24 hours notice should be provided if the appointment cannot be kept. Not giving cancellation notice within 24 hours will still require agreed upon payment.

4. Payment will be provided for sessions digitally through PayPal.

5. In the event that trainers see a participant diminishing the experience of others in group settings, we reserve the right to substitute a participants’ remaining group classes for private sessions.
